Shelter from the Storm

SHELTER TO BE FEATURED CHARITY ON CH 2 TV "COACHELLA
VALLEY SPOTLIGHT"

PALM DESERT: May 11, 2009– Shelter from the Storm will be the featured local charity on KPSP TV Ch 2’s “Coachella Valley Spotlight” through the month of June and will receive a $25,000 donation from the Berger Foundation as part of the station’s community service program.

“Spotlight,” which recognizes nonprofit organizations providing valued services to valley residents, will promote increased awareness for Shelter from the Storm through daily announcements and spots aired during newscasts and on “Eye on the Desert,” concluding with a special check presentation for the donation.
