SHELTER FROM THE STORM OFFERS CHEMICAL DEPENDANCY COUNSELING
FOR ABUSE VICTIMS

PALM DESERT: January 18, 2010– Shelter from the Storm is now offering free chemical dependency group counseling services for victims of domestic violence and abuse.

The group, led by a certified professional, meets every Monday from 7 to 8:30pm at the Shelter’s Counseling Center, 73-555 Alessandro Drive in Palm Desert.  Meetings are open to abuse victims dealing with their own or their abuser’s addiction to drugs or alcohol.
