SHELTER FROM THE STORM REQUEST FOR DONATIONS

PALM DESERT: July 14, 2010 – Sheltering Sisters, the auxiliary for Shelter From The Storm, is pleased to announce their 10th Annual Hats Off Luncheon to be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Hyatt Grand Champion Resorts in Indian Wells.  The Hats Off Luncheon is one of the Auxiliary’s main fundraisers to keep the doors open at the Coachella Valley’s only emergency shelter based agency for abused women and children.  Please help us to fulfill the Shelter’s Mission which is to provide comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence professionally, ethically and compassionately.

You can help the women and children in the Shelter by:

• Writing and mailing a check to Shelter From The Storm today!
• Making a donation to our Hats Off Luncheon – The 10th Annual Hats Off Luncheon to benefit Shelter From The Storm will be held on October 28th at 11:00AM at The Hyatt Grand Champions Resort in Indian Wells, California. We are in need of raffle and silent auction items such as gift cards, gift certificates, rounds of golf, or merchandise from local businesses.
